The Carrot Who Was Too Big For His Bed - Plantable Book by Willsow
The Carrot Who Was Too Big For His Bed is the world's first plantable book, created with special handmade paper embedded with real carrot seeds so you can have lots of fun reading the story and growing your own carrots together!
Read the charming tale about Carrot who loves his nice warm bed. But soon he wants to explore the big wide world. Who will help him pull up his roots and move on? With a shelf life of two years little ones can enjoy the book over and over, then follow the instructions to plant the paper and be amazed (and hopefully inspired to eat vegetables!) when real carrots grow in a few weeks. Instructions covering the basics of growing vegetables are included in the book.
The paper is made in the UK using recycled paper from post-consumer waste, with NON-GMO seeds and instead of glue or metal staples, 100% natural cotton is used to bind the books that have are printed with eco-friendly vegetable-based inks, so the books are eco-friendly and fully biodegradable.
There are five wonderful stories in the plantable book series. Find them all in our brilliant Book Collection.
